“Zach Sale stars in new Tyler Perry movie”
Exclusive Interview by Michael Aaron Gallagher of StayFamous.Net

Zach Sale
There is a saying in Latin that reads, “Aut viam inveniam aut faciam.” It means, “I shall either find a way or make one.” And in the competitive world of Hollywood, making your own way is sometimes the only way to make it.
When Zach Sale was first beginning his career as an actor, he was told that it would take years before he would have a shot at landing a role on the big screen.
“I remember they told me it’s going to take you two years before you get on your first TV show,” he said in a recent interview with StayFamous.Net. “It’s going to take you five years before you get in your first movie.”
But it didn’t take long before he was proving them wrong. Fueled by the motivation to overcome the challenges that stood in his way he proved that if you set your mind to something and you truly apply yourself, you can accomplish almost anything.
“I treat acting like I’m in training. It’s like going to the gym and working out,” Zach said. “I like to download sides – for current TV shows, old TV shows, movies. I like to just cold read. Especially in the beginning, when I first started, money was as tight as tight can be, and I would cold read and then I would also run [lines] with my wife.”
Practicing reading the scripts aloud also strengthened his confidence and better prepared him for the pressure of the audition process. With the help and support of his wife Jax, who was his biggest cheerleader, he soon landed a spot in the 2010 NFL opener with Faith Hill and a background role in the movie Fast Five. He also appeared on the television shows Drop Dead Diva, Burn Notice, The Vampire Diaries and The Game.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Zach started out as a salesman, but deep down he knew that acting was his true calling.
“I’ve always wanted to do it, my entire life,” Zach said. “I remember, my wife, we had just got married…. she said to me, ‘If you could do any job what would be your dream job?’ And I said sales, because that’s what I’ve done forever… you name it, I’ve sold it. And she said ‘No, no, what would be your dream job?’ And I said, ‘If I could get paid to act, that would be a dream job.”
Now, only a couple of years into his journey, he is about to return to theaters this March as a star in the new Tyler Perry film Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.
“I play the role of Brad,” Zach said. “My wife and I are having some difficulties and we go in and see the marriage counselor.”
Written and directed by Tyler Perry, the suspenseful drama is about a complex web of relationships that quickly spiral out of control.
“Working on the set was something awesome,” Zach said. “Again, they told me it would take five years before I got into a significant lead role for any feature. And here I am… it was a lot of fun. A really great experience, so early in my career too.”
With a passion for acting that cannot be contained, Zach’s energy on camera is undeniable.
From the very beginning of his new career, he has documented a behind-the-scenes look at his day-to-day journey as an actor to motivate him along the way, which he called “In An Actor’s Life.” The vlogs are available on his YouTube channel and he also shares them with his Facebook fans as well.
Tyler Perry’s Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor starring Eric West, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Williams and Brandy Norwood, hits theaters on March 29.
