“JennXPenn entertains YouTube audiences”

YouTube star JennxPenn
JennXPenn knows a thing or two about being awesome. After all, she has millions of viewers and a combined total of more than 200,000 online subscribers on her three YouTube channels. With her own unique blend of humor, she has found a way to create entertaining videos that appeal to tweens and teens all over the world. Whether she’s teaching people how to bake peppermint cookies, playing the video game Slender: The Eight Pages or making a camping video, she invites her fans along for the adventure.
In a recent interview with StayFamous.Net, JennXPenn talked about her rise to internet stardom and her collaborations with the popular media company AwesomenessTV, which was created by Hollywood TV and film producer Brian Robbins.
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “How would you describe yourself and your personality when you’re not in front of the camera?”
JennXPenn: “I’m an outgoing person, but it’s only when I turn on the camera that I become… 10 times more outgoing.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “What kind of videos do you find the most entertaining?”
JennXPenn: “My favorite kind of videos to watch are public pranks, because I just think they’re the funniest thing ever.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “As you began to get more popular on YouTube did you become more popular in your town or were people from your school not impressed?”
JennXPenn: “Definitely, a lot of people are impressed with it, because nobody really knew me. Most people who do YouTube are from California. But yeah definitely, a lot of people treat me differently. Even my teachers treat me differently. Some of my teachers even call me JennXPenn.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “What have you enjoyed most about working with Lia Marie Johnson on your videos for AwesomenessTV?”
JennXPenn: “I just love her as a person. It’s crazy because I’ve been watching her for years now and to be able to fly out to California and meet her and do a video with her was crazy. She was super-nice and really funny. So it made working on the set a little less nerve-racking for me, because I had never been on a set before that.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “What has been the most fun part of your experience so far?”
JennXPenn: “I just love creating something out of nothing, basically, and coming up with ideas and putting them to life through my videos and editing. I do a few public pranks myself. So those are the most fun type of video to make, because you can go all-out in public and embarrass yourself and you don’t have to worry about what anyone else thinks because it’s all for the reaction. After posting videos it’s really fun to get people’s feedback and see what people think and it’s cool to interact with my fans.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “If you could have someone guest star in your videos, who would you like to make a cameo?”
JennXPenn: “It would be cool to do a video with iJustine. I don’t know her personally but I really love her videos.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “What do you think is the ‘Awesomest’ thing about Awesomeness TV?”
JennXPenn: “Everyone who works at AwesomenessTV is super-nice and super-supportive and I love the videos they put out. I love how the channel has a huge variety of different kinds of videos. So I feel like anyone can go on the channel and find something they like to watch.”
