Isabella Palmieri
Isabella Palmieri is one of the most versatile young stars in Hollywood. This year she will appear in an upcoming episode of the hit Disney Channel series Jessie, starring Debby Ryan, as well as the independent film Wrong Cops by Writer/Director Quentin Dupieux, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
Trained at The Groundlings Theatre and School and the Marnie Cooper School of Acting in Los Angeles, 15-year-old Isabella began her career as a print model in New York and soon landed voice-over roles for cartoons on Disney Jr., Nick Jr. and PBS Kids.
“I started doing print modeling and that led to commercials and voice-overs, which eventually led into TV and film,” Palmieri said.
In addition to television commercials, she has exercised her modeling skills on the runway, representing some of the top brands in fashion.
As an actress, she played a recurring role as Natalie Snyder on the CBS daytime soap opera As the World Turns, as well as guest-starring roles on the Disney Channel series Good Luck Charlie and the ABC comedy Happy Endings.
In a recent Q&A with StayFamous.Net, Izzy shared more about her exciting career.
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “Why did you want to become an actress?”
Isabella Palmieri: “I was really young when I started but as I continued to do more things I found I really enjoyed it and wanted to keep doing it. I like the variety of everything I am involved in.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “What do you enjoy most about acting?”
Isabella Palmieri: “I like being able to play a character while still bringing a piece of myself to the role.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “You’ve had the chance to be on some pretty cool Disney Channel shows. Have you become friends with any of the cast members?”
Isabella Palmieri: “Yes! I was actually friends with some of the cast members before I guest-starred on the shows, so it made it that much more fun actually working together. Everyone was really nice and included me right away – it was a really great experience.”

Michael Aaron Gallagher: “You’ve also done some voiceover work as well. Is it easier or harder for you to get in character when you’re in a studio rather than with other actors on set?”
Isabella Palmieri: “I think when you are on set with another actor you can play off of each other and that makes it easier to get and stay into character. In a voice-over it is a little harder because you are usually by yourself, but it’s really neat to see the finished product with everyone together.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “Tell me a little bit about your upcoming film Wrong Cops. What’s it about and what character do you play?”
Isabella Palmieri: “It is a film about a futuristic Los Angles, where crime is low and the cops are bored and get themselves in trouble. I play one of the cops’ daughter, Rose who finds out some secrets about her Dad she would rather not know. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “Is there a performance that you’ve done that you’re the most proud of or that you were really excited to land?”
Isabella Palmieri: “I think that I have been pretty excited about all the roles of have been a part of. I remember being really exited about learning I booked the role of Natalie Snyder in As the World Turns. It was the first TV [role] I was on so it was pretty cool to be a part of it.”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “When you try out for roles and you go to auditions up against so many other girls are you nervous at all?”
Isabella Palmieri: “I don’t really look at it like I am going up against others – I feel that you are either right for the role or your aren’t. I think it is natural to be a little nervous but I think that comes from excitement more than anything. I go in and do my best – that is all I can control. If I land the role then I know it was meant to be!”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “What are some of your hopes for the future in terms of acting? Is there something that you really want to accomplish or anyone that you’d like to work with?”
Isabella Palmieri: “I want to continue to work on my acting skills and land some great roles that I will be proud of. I would love to work with Ryan Gosling. I am a huge fan of him and his work!”
Michael Aaron Gallagher: “What are some of the things you like to do in your spare time, do you have any hobbies?”
Isabella Palmieri: “I enjoy hanging out with my friends and love to shop! I also like to sing and I take dance classes as well.”
