Barnett Brettler begins work on new short film

Award-winning director, Barnett Brettler is once again teaming up with producer Nicole Capone as they begin production on a new short film called “Terminus.”
The award-winning filmmaker who graduated from Syracuse University and was named a top emerging artist by Student Filmmakers Magazine in 2008, won “Best Student Film” for “20 Mississippi” in the college category at the Wild Rose Independent Film Festival.
He is scheduled to shoot “Terminus” starting in December.
Partially inspired by the Hemingway classic “The End of Something” and current events, “Terminus” tells the story of two couples, whose romance comes to an end in a New York City subway. It is scheduled to be a 15-minute short film, starring Christopher Lanceley (Owen), Alia Guidry (Izzy), Ashley Marie Ortiz (Grace) and Ben Reno (Adam).
