The Rochester High Falls International Film Festival (May 13 – 18) is a unique cultural experience that brings together filmmakers from around the world to celebrate the extraordinary contribution of women to the motion picture industry. The 2009 film festival, which includes 80 documentaries, short films, and full-length features is expected to attract moviegoers from around New York State, generating an estimated $1 million in revenue for the city of Rochester, New York and the surrounding region.
